In the idyllic landscape of Schenna the “Prunner Luxury Suites” can be found, a beautiful structure that combines nature and village life.
The sides facing the landscape are terraced resembling the adjacent nature, while the side facing the village has a more classic architecture with clear lines so it won’t stand out.

Some central arguments regarding the design choice of the apartments were luxury, panorama and privacy. Guests should have the opportunity to gaze over the beautiful landscape, while also escaping the noise of the main street through Schenna.

Every suite has access to the breath - taking panoramic view thanks to the winding floor plans and an abundant number of windows, in addition, to their very own terrace.

Inspiration for the natural design language has been taken from the “Spronser Seen” with their multiple lakes on different altitudes which blend in perfectly with the landscape.
The hillside - facade resembles the contour lines of a map with its five bands wrapped around each story of the building underlining the idea of the continuous movement of the hill. By doing so, the “Prunner Luxury Suites” has been embedded perfectly in the already existing hillside making it almost invisible. The single terraces are fenced with a plain balcony railing in order to open the panoramic view as much as possible.

This nature inspired look is in complete contrast with the village faced front: instead of organic angles, this side of the building is designed with clear plain lines. It remains clean and uncomplicated in order to imitate the appearance of the village and just as the typical buildings nearby, the “Prunner Luxury Suites” has just three floors in order as to not stand out.

A special highlight has been created, by the trio of UPC Architects, on the roof landscape.
A swimming pool with lying surface and sauna impress the guests with a sensational panorama. This well – being oasis is not visible from the streets and is protected from the noise of the village. Due to this combination between outlook and privacy, the guest experiences an unforgettable stay.
